  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Sweet gem lettuce leaves
  • Sesame seeds and green onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, water, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and add diced chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes on one side before flipping and cooking for another 3 minutes until slightly browned.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet, coating all chicken pieces. Lower the heat and simmer for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Lay out sweet gem lettuce leaves and fill them generously with teriyaki chicken.
  5. Garnish each wrap with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
