Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced flank steak in soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the vegetables: slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, chop the green onions, and separate broccoli into florets.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry marinated steak strips for 3-4 minutes until browned but not fully cooked; set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add more oil and sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until shrimp are pink and veggies are tender-crisp.
  5. Combine cooked steak back into the wok and season with salt and pepper. Cook everything together for an additional minute.
  6. Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
