  • 2 tbsp Dutch cocoa powder (or additional regular)
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water or milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup granulated erythritol or regular sugar
  • 3 eggs or flax eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup regular or keto chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 F and grease an 8-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients: almond flour, cocoa powders, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: water or milk, erythritol or sugar, eggs or flax eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 16 minutes or until firm.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely before poking holes with a toothpick or chopstick.
