  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper; roast for about 15 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in honey and soy sauce; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return shrimp and roasted broccoli to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce. Heat through for an additional couple of minutes.
  5. Serve hot over rice or noodles, adding lemon juice or red pepper flakes if desired.
