Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl or jar, whisk together the chia seeds, cocoa powder, and protein powder until well combined.
  2. Pour in the plant-based milk and maple syrup (and optional vanilla extract and salt). Stir until no dry clumps remain.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb liquid. Stir again to prevent clumping.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until thickened.
  5. Before serving, stir once more and top with your favorite additions like fresh fruits, nut butter, or dark chocolate shavings.
