  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup full-fat canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking dish with coconut oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, almond butter, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cider vinegar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in coconut milk and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
