  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup broth (beef or chicken)
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Colby jack cheese

  1. In a cast-iron skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Sauté diced onions in the skillet until softened (about 3 minutes), then add chopped mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in green beans, minced garlic, and broth; cook for another 2–3 minutes until softened.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; mix in cream cheese and sour cream until well combined.
  5. Return ground beef to the skillet with seasonings: salt, pepper, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce; stir gently.
