  • 12 chicken tenders (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coating by whisking eggs in one bowl and combining almond flour, garlic powder, parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in another.
  2. Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the almond flour mixture. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) and spray the basket with olive oil. Cook chicken tenders for about 7 minutes per side until crispy.
  4. For the sauce, melt butter in a pot over medium heat; stir in hot sauce, honey, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes before serving.
  5. Drizzle sauce over cooked chicken tenders before serving.
